DEE DEE WOOD started as a dancer on Broadway and soon turned to choreography. Her work can be seen in films and television extravaganzas including The Statue of Liberty's 100th Birthday Ceremony (she won an Emmy); & Olympic Ceremonies and Super Bowl Half-Time shows. Dee Dee received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 1998 American Choreography Awards in LA ,was honored at the 2003 Dance Masters of America Awards in Las Vegas and in 2005, was inducted into the AZ Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. She is on the Board of Judges for the Emmy Awards. Semi-retired, she still helps the local community by directing musical productions for the Desert Foothills Theater.
