Pat Cain

“Painting in a non-representational style has afforded me the opportunity and freedom to combine color, shape, line and texture in an endless number of ways.  Having lived in northern Michigan and now in Arizona, however, I am inspired to paint the landscapes that I see all around me.  I continue to strive to meld my nonrepresentational style and the more traditional style of my landscapes into some middle ground.”

My painting “Desert Light” was chosen for the cover of the Sonoran Arts League’s Hidden in the Hills directory in 2009.
